Hi all. I'm trying to unfold something I've modeled in Blender but it won't unfold because it has too many triangles. I'm curious to find out the maximum number of triangles the software can handle. Right now I'm in a cycle of decimate the mesh, import it to armorsmith, try again.
Thanks in advance
Hi Rotomonkey, The current maximum number of triangles is 1,000,000. Really though to keep an unfold manageable you don't want to exceed 100,000 triangles. The unfolding papercraft process is mainly designed for low polygon meshes. Thanks for the question.
